Self Guided Bike Tours of

SONOMA VALLEY

QUOTES-LEFT_edited.png

Went on an all day bike tour with our group of four. We had an awesome time.

The biking was just right for the group and we visited enough interesting wineries to fill the day.

Our guide even made additional stops to talk about Sonoma and some of it's history and characteristics,

which was unexpected but great.
It's clear that this company takes time and care to customize the experience for every group he does,

and adds tons of personal touches to the tours that he leads.
I'm not really a wine guy, but this is one of the top 10 experiences I've ever had on vacation.

Hands down would recommend this to anyone visiting Sonoma.

 TOUR OVERVIEW

Our Half-Day Bike Tour with additional rental is popular for good reason: You’ll enjoy the unique experience of bicycling through wine country – visiting two local wineries for tastings, get access to vineyards and caves – and still finish with the freedom of having your own adventure… and still early enough to make other plans for your afternoon!

Your tour group will be led by a local, knowledgeable Tour Guide – someone who’s excited to share Sonoma with you and enhance your education of the vine-to-bottle process. Our Pedal assist bikes are fitted, and riders given a chance to familiarize themselves before leaving. Within the first mile of the ride – whether pedal-assist or not, you’ll relax as you realize the route is designed around quiet roads, flat terrain and breathtaking views. For those on the pedal-assist bikes, whether on a slight hill or a longer section, the ride is effortless and leaves one full of energy the entire ride. You’ll pedal an average of 3 to 5 miles between stops at local wineries and tasting rooms. The emphasis is on enjoying the scenery and discovering great wines along the way.

Note: Our guided bike tours are adult-oriented and wine-focused and intended for guests age 21+.  Exceptions are occasionally made, but please call first - family tours are best when private.

KEEP ROLLING AFTER YOUR TOUR

After your bike tour concludes, you’re welcome to keep your bikes if you want to do some additional riding on your own.

Note: In many cases, the Half-Day and Full-Day Tour are led by the same guide. After the second tasting, and before the lunch is served, the Half-Day Tour will be given the map and suggestions on some wonderful lunch spots, great additional wineries and more. Be sure to ask your Tour Guide to recommend the best scenic country back-roads to explore or for the new hot winery to visit within 2-3 miles of our shop. Bikes must be returned by shop close at 5:00pm.
