Are you having a hard time deciding which wine country to visit?  We have the solution!  Experience both of the highly-rated wine country's - Napa Valley and Sonoma - in this wonderful and exciting 4-night/5-day vacation package.   

Enjoy the best days of your life experiencing what Napa Valley AND Sonoma Wine Country has to offer.  Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a vacation adventure with friends and family, this vacation can be tailored to fulfill your desires.  Package just the right number of cycling rides and wine tastings with other activities such as spa treatments, hot air ballooning, kayaking, and hiking.  Every vacation is partnered with the best accommodations at the price level you wish; we’ve visited and hand-selected each property to ensure that your stay will be nothing but perfect. So come join us cycling in Napa Valley for 2 days; then pack up and cycle in Sonoma for 2 more.  Your mornings and evenings are yours…dine when and where you want.  Your only scheduled group activity is the bicycle tour starting at 10am each day.  This daily bicycle tour is when you’ll have plenty of time to socialize and meet people from all over the country.

We take care of all of the details from your arrival to your return.  Our staff is nearby tending to your every need from luggage transfers to answering questions about vineyards and wine.  We arrange all your breakfasts, lunches, and dinners to ensure that your dining experiences are fabulous. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of biking and activities to help burn off any extra calories you might enjoy during this adventure! So relax, put your feet up, and let us be your personal concierge.

Sample of our “Best of Napa & Sonoma Vacation” Itinerary:

Sunday, Day 1
Welcome to Napa Valley!  First, you’ll arrive at our shop to get fitted with the bike of your choice and helmet (we carry the latest models of Specialized Bicycles.)  Next, we'll give you a coupon for two complimentary glasses of sparkling wine at Domaine Chandon so you can toast to the beginning of your getaway vacation after you check into the Villagio Inn and Spa (gold level) or similar accommodations; our silver level guests will be staying at the Napa River Inn, Railway Inn, or similar property. 

Depending on when you arrive today, you are certainly welcome to enjoy a self-guided tour before dinner or we can recommend several enjoyable activities close by such as Copia - the American Center for Wine, Food & the Arts; art galleries; museums; or, dare we say, shopping at the Napa Outlet Mall, Vintage 1870 (a small specialty retail mall) or antique shops which are plentiful throughout the valley. Tonight, we’ve made dinner reservations for you at one of the world-class restaurants that are abundant in Yountville, a town known as the culinary capital of the wine country!

Monday, Day 2
After breakfast, you’ll arrive at our shop for your first, full-day, guided bicycle tour – what we call our Ride, Wine, & Dine Tour.  We’ll visit four wineries in the famous Stags Leap District.  Lunch will be catered at the third winery overlooking the vineyards.  Our Ride, Wine and Dine tours are designed for the tourist, not the cyclist.  It’s a relaxing ride through the vineyards enjoying the food, wine, and scenery; so don’t worry about being fit enough - you'll be fine.  Now, if you are a cyclist or someone looking for more exercise, we have a special treat for you too.  Join us for our Wine Country Club Ride.  This is a great way for the cyclist(s) in the group to “get it out of their system” or the exercise fanatics to work up a sweat before meeting the rest of the group for a relaxing ride through the vineyards on the guided Ride, Wine, & Dine Tour today. 

The Ride, Wine, and Dine Tour finishes between 3pm and 5pm.  It’s all about you, so we don’t push you through the day.  Depending on your accommodations, you’ll have plenty of time to jump in the year-round heated pool or relax in your room before dinner.  Tonight, we’ve made dinner reservations for you.

Tuesday, Day 3
To sum it up, Day 2 was so perfect, you’ll want to do it again today!  Today, you'll cycle in the Rutherford District, known for it's powerful, robust reds.   It will be another wonderful day in the wine country.  After your tour today, we'll drive you over to your accommodations in Sonoma - MacArthur Place (gold level) or the Eldorado at Sonoma (silver level.)  Like Napa, Sonoma is home to world-class dining as well and we've taken special consideration making your reservations.

Wednesday, Day 4

After breakfast, you'll pedal into the Carneros Region, known for its white wine varietals and lighter reds like Pinor Noir.  The terrain and scenery is breath-takingly beautiful providing the backdrop for another perfect day in Wine Country!

Thursday, Day 5

It will be another wonderful day in Sonoma Valley visiting 4 more small, boutique wineries with great wines and ambiance.

Once you’ve completed your route today, we’ll chauffeur you and your luggage back to Evans Transportation or your rental car in Napa.  If desired, you can add the cost of one more night; or, if your flight leaves early tomorrow, we can make recommendations for lodging near the airport.

Notes about our accommodations: We personally visit and inspect each property.  We meet the staff and owners/managers; thus, you can rest assured that any of the accommodations will offer you the perfect vacation in the valley.  We’ll match your budget to our partner properties.  Accommodations in the valley book fast…especially from May to October; thus, book as soon as you can to ensure that we can offer you accommodations at the level you desire.  Silver level packages offer a step above clean, casual, and comfortable accommodations; rooms typically range in the $200/night range (more on the weekends) such as the Napa River Inn or Railway Inn.  Gold level packages provide luxurious accommodations in the $385/night range at premier resorts and inns such as Villagio/Vintage Inn and Spa. The Napa River Inn, Railway Inn, and Villagio/Vintage Inn are linked here to give you an example of what we mean by “Silver” and “Gold” accommodations.   Again, we’ve personally visited and inspected each property, so all properties in their respective price level are just as nice as the rest.  We select your accommodations based on availability with our partnered hotels.

Notes about dining: Based on Zagat ratings, responses from previous guests, and personal dining experiences, we will reserve a table for you in one of the world-class, world-famous restaurants in our valley.  Our first goal is to offer you a world-class experience; secondly, it’s our goal to keep you as close to your accommodations as possible in an effort to reduce, if not eliminate, the need for a taxi.  However, if friends or family have recommended a particular restaurant, let us know and we’ll do everything we can to get you a reservation.  Typically, we make reservations for our guests at the following restaurants: Bistro Jeanty, Bouchon, Etoile, Hurley's, Redd, Cafe La Haye, Della Santina's, El Dorado Kitchen, The Girl and The Fig, LaSalette, Sante

Daily Options available with our daily bicycle tour: If you want to experience as much as possible each day, the following activities pair well with our daily Ride, Wine, and Dine bicycle tour.  Let us know if you would like to add any of the following activities to your day:

• Sunset River Cruise – After a day of cycling, relax with a sunset cruise in a riverboat floating down the Napa River. This option is available at an additional charge. 
• Balloon Ride – It’s just a couple of hours in the morning, but it creates memories that last a lifetime.  Let us know if you would like us to book this for your vacation experience to Napa Valley.  The rest of the day is yours for shopping or relaxing at the pool. This option is available at an additional charge. 
• Spa Package – How about a “peddle and pamper” day?  After cycling, let us reserve a welcoming spa treatment at a nearby spa.  You are responsible for spa charges.

Notes about airport shuttles: Evans Transportation provides transportation services from both OAK and SFO airports to Napa Valley hotels for $45/person one-way; however, you are more than welcome to rent a car and leave it at our shop during your vacation.  To use Evans, you must reserve a spot at least 24 hours ahead of time.  Click here to check out the airporter schedule and get the phone number for reservations. 

You may find that a rental car, although completely unneeded during your stay, may be the most convenient way to travel to and from the airport with very little extra expense.

Our Bicycles: We take pride in our bicycle fleet...my grandfather used to say, "You're only as good as your tools."  Back then, “tools” meant construction tools as this was a way of life in our family. Today, the translation for our business is simple: TOOLS = BICYCLES.  We've teamed up with Specialized Bicycles and KHS to offer you great quality, current-year models for an enjoyable ride.  Whether you are a recreational rider or an avid cyclist with your own pedals, we have a bike and pedals for you.  Pick from road, road-hybrid, comfort, or full-suspension mountain bikes, tandems, recumbants …we even have electric bikes!  Although we offer no discount, we welcome you to bring your own bike, but frankly, there's no reason too.   For a complete list of our bikes and pedals, check out our List of Bikes.

Vacation Dates Available: This 5-day, 4-night vacation package is available every week, 52 weeks a year, with your arrival day ("Day 1") ALWAYS on Sunday.  Your departure day (Day 5) is always on Thursday.

Pricing: The price of this 4-night, 4-tour, and 4-dinner vacation package depends on your accommodation level and time of year.  Prices below are per person and based on double occupancy...if you are coming by yourself, please Click here to request special pricing.  The only difference with our Silver and Gold level vacations is the accommodations experience.

Prices above include accommodations; breakfasts, lunches, and dinners from Sunday dinner to Thursday lunch; 2007 Specialized bicycle (road-hybrid or road bike) with or without clip-less pedals; helmet; guided bicycle tours and/or self-guided options for longer rides; SVBT t-shirt and SVBT water bottle; unlimited water; Clif Bars each day; tour guide; van support; luggage transfers.

This package does not include airfare, hotel taxes and incidentals, winery tours and tasting fees, dinner tabs over $40/person (we pay the first $40/person for dinner each night), and transportation to and from the airport.

Traveling in a threesome, foursome, or larger group?  If desired, we offer same room, 3rd/4th person at reduced pricing (any level):

                    3-3-3 Vacation: $800 per person               

                    5-5-5 Vacation: $1200 per person
